DOLBY ATMOS
DOLBY ATMOS
IMMERSIVE MIXING & MASTERING
Dolby Atmos has reinvented how entertainment is created and experienced, allowing creatives everywhere to place each sound in a three-dimensional space for a more realistic and immersive audio experience. It cannot be overstated how important conveying emotion in music is. Dolby Atmos is singlehandedly the most emotional way to experience recorded music. With massive headroom and loudness standardization, all of the subtleties artist’s spend hours obsessing over can be heard and felt in a way that it simply cannot elsewhere. With our state of the art monitoring and close communications with Dolby, we can ensure seamless translation across playback devices — true to the original, pushed to the absolute limits of the format.
PREPARE
Files required for Dolby Atmos Mixing:
Stems: 24-bit / 48kHz processed .wav files. When preparing stems for Dolby Atmos mixing, it is important to leave all processing enabled — including stereo bus processing, without the limiter. When grouping sounds into stems, stop and think — think about what makes the song, “the song” and what might enhance the listening experience and group stems accordingly.
Final Approved Stereo Master File: a .wav file of final and approved stereo master.
Files required for Dolby Atmos Mastering:
ADM BWF of the Dolby Atmos Mix: a 24-bit / 48kHz multi-channel interleaved .wav file containing all audio and meta-data.
Final Approved Stereo Master File: a .wav file of final and approved stereo master.
INCLUDED FILES
Standard Dolby Atmos Mixing or Mastering includes the following file formats for both the Main and Clean Mix. Additional alternate versions are billed separately:
